Description
Founded by Oliver Hughes & Liam Lahart, the Porterhouse Brew Co. are Ireland's pioneers of craft beer. Opening Ireland's first brewpub in the heart of Dublin, Temple Bar. Nowadays with a chain of successful bars in Dublin, London and New York the company is now producing from a state of the art brewery located in Glasnevin, Dublin. The expansion to the 120 barrel brewing facility in 2017 helps service our own bars but provides quality beer outside of the bars to consumers throughout Ireland while exporting to over 20 markets globally. The Porterhouse Brew Co. is proud to be a fully run independent brewery with a focus on consistency, quality and innovation.

Caña en el Artesana Oviedo 28..09..2017. (r401). Color negro intenso con espuma beige fina. Sabores suaves cebada y cereales algo toscos. Ligeros cacaos y algo de café. Cuerpo ligero algo aguado. Suave amargo seco final. Normal.

Bottle. Black color with beige head. Aroma is a touch butter, chocolate. Taste is buttery, earthy, roasted malts, very bitter finish. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Not for me.

Back log entry. 330ml bottle thanks to sam. Pours out amber color topped with a sand head. Nose is caramel some grain like spice. Taste is more of the grain spiced caramel a little nutty note and some grassy hops.

Back log entry 330ml bottle thanks to sam. Pours out dark brown almost black topped with a small tan head. Nose is coffee chocolate which malts pit fruit. Taste is more of the coffee chocolate pit fruit a little Woody roast.

0.33l bottle from bierlinie in berlin. pours a hazy deep chestnut with a stable raisioff-white head. aroma of funk, pickles, raisins, toasted malts, a hint of passionfruit. flavour of wine, caramel, orange juice and zest, dried fruit. not too sweet, bitter and slightly sour nutty finish. nice and complex, alcohol is somewhat hidden.
