Deep purple/ruby with a pink head. The aroma has heaps of fruity goodness from the banana and blueberry specifically with a nice undertone of coconut. The fruit dies when sipped, which is a bit disappointing and it lacks any actual sourness a Berliner really should exude. But, it’s still nice overall. The fruit notes come back in the finish giving it a very hot>cold>hot wave in fruit.

Entre dorada y pajiza. Muy nebulosa. No demasiada espuma pero de buena retención. Aroma a lupulo. Resinoso y herbal, notas funky. En boca es sedoda, cremosa, suave, de excelente textura. Amargor evidente pero no demasiado intenso. Alcohol muy bien disimulado. Rico sabor lupulado de notas resinosas y ahora más frutales, tropicales. Sin perder el punto funky. Intensa, sabrosa… y peligrosa.

Near black to black with a beige head. Big roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, earthy, a bit of burnt malt, caramel sweetness balances it all out some. Medium, smooth body. Finishes with a healthy bittersweet bite and is mostly dry. A very nice stout from two excellent breweries. Glad I grabbed a couple!

Entre dorada y pajiza. Muy nebulosa. Espuma abundante de buena retención. Intenso aroma, lupulado. Mas resinoso y herbal que frutal, pero tiene también fruta, cítrico sobre todo. Textura excelente, muy sedosa, cremosa, con gran cuerpo. Sabor se inclina más hacia frutas tropicales y cítricas. Amargor intenso y tono alcohólico bien marcado de principio a fin. Intensa y potente. Para tomar con calma.

Opaque yellow with a white head. Sweet oat cream, tangy tropical fruits, a hint of pine. Full, silky body. Finish has piney bitterness and sweet oats. I don’t enjoy the style but this is one of the better ones. It actually has some bitterness to balance out the sweetness.
