Some grain but this really doesn't come together well. Golden pour with ok head. Light tang on end. Tap at Deposito.

El Deposito, CDMX can: somewhat hazy with a white head. Aroma is citrusy, but might be a bit old. Sweet. Sort of bitter. Very meh. Might be old. Not a proper NEIPA.

12 oz pour at Wings Army, Playa Del Carmen. A semi hazy pale yellow pour with a thin fizz head. Minerva has proven to be quite a nice collection of brews, I have learned on this trip. Straw, some corn on the aroma. Suspicious, but flavor seems to really save this. Good flavor. Refreshing. A touch of corn, but thin. Quite a carb bite here. Late cream corn reminder. A little better than what I would expect from a kolsch around here. Still, with this heat, very refreshing.

Bomber poured at Wings Army, Playa Del Carmen. A very interesting brew that I just couldn't pass up. A bright golden orange pour with a ton of rocky foam head. Quite refreshing for a beer I expected to be boozier and imperial. Has a good roast to it. Slight smoked malt, covering some hop impressions. Not a clear tequila impression that jumps out, but this sure is unique. The more I enjoy this, the more I can identify it as a tequila ale. Probably my favorite brew I've sampled on this trip. Good stuff here.

12 oz bottle poured at Wing Army, Playa Del Carmen. Jet black pour, quite thick. In the sun, this one would probably be a sipper, but in the cool, dimly lit restaurant, it is quite enjoyable. Plenty of tan foam head that lasts. Actually listed as a sweet stout on the menu here, but it couldn't get much more dry if you ask me. Soft coffee like bitterness behind a soft dark chocolate. First few sips I was put off by a metallic linger, but I didn't seem to pick it up much later into enjoying this brew. Good roast late palate. Good stout.
