Tap at the JS Brewhouse in Melbourne. Pale golden, white lace. Low on tropical notes, or any really Quite bland pale ale. Weird I remember the basic swindler to be more flavorful

345ml bottle from Dan Murphy’s, Hurstville. Hazy yellow colour, white foam head and aroma of fruity apple, hints of citrus. Taste is mellow apple, sweetish, sugary, fruity and abit sour with some light tannins. Light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy slightly tannic finish. OK.

Pint on tap at The Charming Squire. Sour/sweet nose. Crystal clear golden beer with thin white head. Highly effervescent. Chalky mineral water taste. Finish is bitter with that same sourness from the nose. I think it’s trying to be a golden Ale with an APA citric freshness but........too harsh and too sour. Bit of a failure, I’m afraid.

Bottle. Light citric and earthy nose Copper, low head Medium light body, ok chewiness Restrained well balanced, a bit too restrained really - when you work with these great hops they should get the opportunity to shine a bit more.
