345ml bottle. Deep golden amber colour, thin off-white foam head and aroma of caramel, orange, toffee. Taste is sweet malt caramel with a floral orangey hop tangy bitterness. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, some residual sweetness through to a dry bitter finish. OK IPA.

Bottle. Golden in colour with a slight haze and decent, off-white head. Sweet malts, coriander, a touch of spice and gentle finish. Pleasant.

It’s a bottle I picked up in Seoul at an import supermarket in Itaewon. It pours a great amber gold with a lot of effervescence. The aroma was mild & fruity with hints of peach or kumquat...? It has a great body with a nice mouthfeel over a caramel malt base & a very mild fruity hop finish. As I continued to drink it, it started to remind me of Old Speckled Hen or other average run of the mill UK beers from Yamaya... a bit of a let down, it could use a better hop finnish which would push the rating up a lot.

Tap at Portland hotel, Melbourne. Slightly dark amber colour. Thin head. Toffee taste, not overly hoppy/bitter like most IPA´a, which I like.

Tap at Portland hotel, Melbourne. Reasonable head which lasted through. Copper colour, mild carbonation. An inkling of hops to offset mostly malty taste.

It’s quite simple - this beer lacks the complexity of a good IPA. there’s something almost plastic about the aroma, which is mainly malty biscuity-ness with some burnt caramel. There are more hops on the palate and a reasonable amount of malt, but this beer is just a pass when rated against other IPAs.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of dusty hops and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, grass, and herbal hops, leading to a bitter finish.
