From a bottle brought back from the Land of Oz. A little syrupy and the hops were restrained, but not so bad compared with the previous reviews.

From a 345ml bottle on 12/1/2018 (2018 edition ABV 4.7%). Contrary to the label's claim of cloudiness, pours quite a clear medium golden with a medium head. Has a very faint fruity aroma. The flavour features bready malt and muted citrus and stone fruit sweetness, followed by a gentle bitterness. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Pretty uninspiring, and could quite easily be mistaken for the 150 Lashes.

Pint on tap at The Charming Squire, Brisbane. Mostly clear golden amber beer with thin white head. High carbonation. Yeasty nose with a touch of malt. Taste is distant bitter hops, mouthfeel is spritzy. Finish is yeasty with lingering background malt and very late peppery notes. Quite acceptable (and enjoyable) saison.

Pint on tap at The Charming Squire, Brisbane. Cloudy light amber beer with thin head. Classic nose of banana and clove. Light body, sweet taste, refreshing and spritzy. There's a developing finish of banana, aniseed, cloves. Then some late sweet malt balanced by some bitter/sour notes. Nice traditional Hefe, good on a hot Brisbane arvo!

Bottle enjoyed during a holiday in Australia, as the Original Amber Ale. Backlog rating from bottle collection and historic scoring. Source was the James Squire Brewhouse, Kings St Wharf, Darling Harbour. Tasting notes not kept, just rating. One of the better beers found back then.
