Keg at Archea - Florence. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy white cap. The nose has dank citrus, grapefruit, bready wheat. Medium sweet flavor with a good dose of pee, grapefruit, pith, sweet wheat bread, some farmy funk. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. More dank and pissy hop character in the finish, some sweat and pith, underscored with fairly sweet wheat bread. Pretty good overall.

Aroma is mild with some cocoa and salty licorice. Flavour is salty and somewhat tart with cocoa, mild rubbery tones, ash and some coffee. Somewhat fizzy palate. The tartness does not fit here and this feels also a bit messy. Also too much salt for me here.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Tom C. Hazy golden with a white head. Hoppy aroma with overripe fruits and a bit of yeast. Flavor has some yeast, fruity hops, and nice bitterness. Kinda over-carbonated. Quite refreshing.
