Pitch black color. A lot of molasses, dark chocolate nose, but in the background. The mouth is fairly sour, roasted malts, muddled. Not the best imperial dark whatever.

Sample at the Badge-Whore Bowl (OSU vs AL) tasting on 01/01/2015. This beer pours a hazy yellow color with a medium white head that diminishes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal hops, biscuit malt and fruit. Light-bodied with a grassy hops character and notes of biscuit malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with an herbal hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle bought in Rome and brought home to England. Pours an amber colour with an off white head. Aroma of grass, fruits, caramel and alcohol. Too sweet with an odd bitterness. A strange brew. Great bottle label though.
