[10/16/13] Bottle at Luppolo12 in Rome. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of coriander, wheat and a bit of lemon. Wheaty flavor, sweetish-sourish, with coriander, some citrus and some saltiness. Medium-bodied. Very nice and refreshing, pretty true to style.

Nass hopfiger, deutlich bitterer Antrunk. Die bitteren Aromen werden weicher, passend herb und grasig. Ab dem Mittelteil süffig, etwa hopfiger, Zitrus. Gelungen. 12/10/9/10//9

Hazy dark amber color with small head. Some aroma of citrusy hops, some dust and soil. Dry mouthfeel, dry caramel flavor, relatively strong bitterness, with light citrusy hops character, but stronger earthy (soil) character.
Dirty, more caramel and less hop freshness than a typical APA.

24/07/2013 Bir&Fud (tap). Dorata, torbida, schiuma bianca leggera, poco persistente. Al naso sentori agrumati, coriandolo, iodio. In bocca è confusa e sbilanciata... vorrebbe essere una gose? Se così è, non riesce a trovare un equilibrio tra le parti. Il sale è troppo invadente e la nota lattica latita. Corpo leggero, carbonazione media. Deludente.

12/07/2013 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Dorata, non molto intensa, lievemente torbida, schiuma bianca non molto abbondante e poco persistente. Al naso sentori di agrumi, fruttato, leggero erbaceo, intensa ma non pulitissima. In bocca conferma le stesse sensazioni, ha un bell’amaro deciso, agrumato ed erbaceo, con finale secco, ma non è esente da sbavature. Il corpo è medio-leggero, la base di malto non invadente, la carbonazione è media. Da rivedere in alcuni dettagli, resta potenzialmente una ottima American Pale Ale.

Tap at Bir&Fud, Roma, 22/06/13. Hazed dark amber with a thin beige head. Nose is malt forward, brown bread, biscuit, dark fruits. Taste comprises dark fruits, malt loaf, touch of sugar. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, fruity malty twang in the finale. Solid enough bock.
