Bottle at the hotel with the Nellerizer - Rome. Picked up from Johnny’s Off Licence. Was a bit of a gusher. Pours clear gold, highly effervescent with a strong, foamy white head. Dry cereal in the nose, hay, some tangerine, pale malts. Light sweet flavor with dirty hay bitterness, some lemon and tangerine rinds, mild pale malts. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Moderately dry to finish, some ever so slightly tangy citrus fruits, dry cereal grains, pale malts, straw. Nice pils.

Draught (handpump) at Mad for Beer, Rome
Cloudy deep blond color with big frothy head. Impressive fruity aroma, citrus fruits, cedar, very fresh. Light body, with mild malt flavor, good hopping, quite strong bitterness, strong fruity resins, and again a strong citrusy character; balanced final, although the yeast leaves some spicy trace.

01/05/2013 Ma che siete venuti a fà (handpump). Dorata pallida, torbida, con schiuma bianca molto abbondante e persistente. Al naso un bellissimo bouquet di frutta, agrumato ed erbaceo, davvero intenso. In bocca si perde un po’, rimanendo forse leggermente timida rispetto alle attese, ma comunque ben fatta, fresca e godibile. Corpo leggero, carbonazione soft. Molto buona.

Hazy blond color. The aroma is spicy and fruity. The body is quite strong, the alcohol is immediately evident; ther is a moderate residual sweetness, a fruity trace, and light spices.
