Bottle shared at Leightons gaff , 19/09/2016. Many thanks to Leighton for this one a dark black coloured pour with a fading dark tan head. Aroma is tangy dark malts, tangy, dark liquorice, smoked liquorice. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, burnt meat, tangy apple, liquorice, dark chocolate. Palate is medium bodied, tangy, frothy carbonation, sticky sweet. Good.

Bottl shared in London - picked up by in the Italy. Pours black with a foamy, brown head. The aroma smacks of age, with nips of burnt marshmallows, old toast, cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with dark, jammy fruits, berries, chocolate, oxidation, faint metal. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, more ripe, jammy dark fruits, raisins, chocolate. So so.

Bottle thanks to LKS. It pours darkest brown with a small tan head. The aroma is earthy, roasted malt, bitter - sweet, sticky, coconut, dark chocolate bounty bar, fudge cake, gateaux and earth. The taste is bitter - sweet, tart, tangy, vinous, jammy berry, red grape, some acidity, red currant and some sour green apple with a dry, tart finish. Medium + body and average carabonation. A bit tart and tangy on the taste. So - so.

Bottle split at Bespin, thanks to Leighton, 19/09/16. Light black with a moderate tan swirl. Nose is cocoa powder, dark fruit rinds, spice, toffee, biscuit, sour fruit edge. Taste comprises light fruit balsams, chocolate, toffee, tangy fruits, Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Sub par for style, too much tang on the fruit, lacks balance.

Tap at BNO in Sassari-Italy. Cloudy dark golden color, medium white foam. Nose: floral, a bit of an amber malts sweet feel. Mouth: more feel of cara malts, little signs of oxidation, tart aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap @So Good (Rome). Pours cloudy pale yellow with a little white head. Aroma is delicate fruity, citrus, lemon peel. Flavour is perfectly balanced, light bitterness, really drinkable. Medium to light body, light carbonation. Nice one!
