Tap at So Good in Rome-Italy. Cloudy yellow pour, a bit juicy. The foam is irregular and very tick, white in color. The nose is just amazing and balanced: bergamot skin, lavender, cedar zest. Mouth is very crispy although quite soft, tangerine feeling really with a moderate and pleasant malty character. It ends dry. A great one imo.

Tap at Be.Re. in Rome-Italy. Deep black pour, little brownish foam with minimal retention. Nose: dark chocolate, under spirit cherries, alcohol, dusty in a way. Lovely. Mouth: a bit too frizzy although the tasta totally mirrors the great aroma. Totally. Like it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From 33 bottle. Pours a beautiful loaded amber with not much head. Aroma is wonderful, malty and complex, a little alcoholic. Body is light. Taste starts sweetish, but is eventually surmounted by a marked bitterness (for a bock). Finish is long with bitterness.

From 33 bottle. Pours dark brown, maybe dark plum, worth practically no foam. Aroma not particularly intense, with chocolate, cherries, vanilla. Body is very light for an 8-degree beer. Taste is relatively sweet, with just a hint of final bitterness. Finish is short.

On tap at So Good in Rome-Italy. Hazy ancient gold, little foam. Nose: spices and esters. Mouth: a bit shy, not bodied but ok. Reminiscence of a Belgian Strong Ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Color is pale gold with white foam. Aroma is rather insignificant. Just some t malt. Body is light. Taste is also not much, with some bittersweet finish that seems a little unpleasant.

Draft at FOB, in Rimini, Italy. Color is a pale blond with white foam. Aroma is citrus, maybe more grapefruit. Body is light. Taste is more citrus, reminding more of lemon. Dry palate. Overall, I’m not convinced. -- rated with beerbasher/winphone
