Description
The brewery was set up at the end of 2004 in a beautiful farmhouse called “L’Olmaia” in Val D’Orcia, near Siena, Tuscany, initially as a small firm producing up to 300 litres per batch.
In 2009 it was relocated a few kilometers to the east in the area of Sant’Albino, near Montepulciano, where the products could be sold directly to the public. Throughout the year we produce 6 types of beer, plus some special seasonal beers, all of which are strictly unpasteurized, unfiltered and re-fermented, both in the keg and in the bottle. The production plant was built, according to our production needs, by the company Tefo of Parma, and it now has a production capacity of 2,500 litres per batch thanks to 4 cylindroconical fermentation tanks with a capacity of 2,500 litres and 2 with a capacity of 1,500 litres.
Inside the Brewery you can find the Tap Room with 6 beers on tap, cold cuts, cheeses and bottled beers.

Draught Good dense, nitrogen-like head over luminous yellow-orange beer. Hoppy nose, with some honey present, sweet pilsner- and other light malts. Excellent, fruity, flowery fresh hops flavour. Faint citrus touches and ending on a reminiscence of sweet malts. Aptly light, but slightly overcarbonated (I’m not very fond of nitrogen dispense). Interesting light, very drinkable beer.

Little head; pale orange colour. Bit sulphury nose, coriander & other spices, citrus. Bit sulphur again in the taste, if less dominating, citrus obvious whilst other spices in check. Not a very fluent taste, somewhat clashing; bit burning MF. Not at all bad, but I wonder whence the sulphur.
