Small rim over clear metallic copper-golden beer, looking not very carbonated. Overpowering aroma from the fennel seed. Background aroma of coffee indeed. Light acidity, almost fruity, and thankfully more restrained fennel orally. The fruitiness could indeed be raspberry, mark the conditional. Light body, undercarbonated. Still somewhat refreshing thanks to way of spicing. Original, certainly. Weird, absolutely. Great, not really. Txs to Joren and Daniel!

Head gone in seconds; orange tinted golden beer with a very faint veil. Typical dry C-hops, with exotic fruit & citrus; resin. Very dry, resiny, lupulin & hopoil- filled mouthful. Some fruity esters, if fleetingly under the resin onslaught. Quite slick, but still rather light body. Not very carbonated. Nice flavours but ending lame, feeling empty. Many thanks to Joren & Daniel!

440ml can. Pours a pale green/gold with a very minimal white head. Aroma is the usual ester of Belgian style yeast. Beer is near dry with mild bitterness & more of the Belgian yeast flavours.
Fine, but expensive for a 4.8% beer.

Canned in New Zealand. Clear golden with white head. Crisp, some herbal notes, sweetish, very light, bit too thin for me especially in finish.

440ml can. Pours a pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is moderate & unusual, perhaps the Saphir hops? Not my cup of tea. Beer is smooth, near dry with the same unusual hop flavour I got on the nose over a light roast malt spine. OK beer but I just don;t like this hop combo.
