330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber with floaters and big head. Aromas of baked apples, bready malts, and yeast. Big malt flavors of bread, dough, apple pie and mellow Belgian yeast. Full and smooth with nice carbonation. Truly liquid bread.

Bottle - Light sweet malts with a touch of stone fruit. Hazy gold with a white head. Sweet stone fruit and malty sweet notes. Sweet and malty throughout but nice.

Bottled at Monk’s Brewery & Café, Stockholm. Hazy pale amber, small head. Fruity grassy nose with some marzipan. Mid dry with medium body and crisp rounded mouthfeel. Elegant, slender and crisp. Mid bitter finish. Relaxed, but with lots of depth.

Bottle. Light hazy orange liquid with medium white head. Aroma of white pepper, lemon, grain, red berries, light clove, light banana and bread. Taste is very light sweet and light bitter with notes of lemon, red berries, grain and light orange peel. Medium bodied with medium to high carbonation. Pretty nice!

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with average, fluffy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Yeasty, wheaty, fruity aroma, notes of peach, pear and (dried) apricot, lots of clove, a minimally peppery yeasty touch as well. Taste is again wheaty fruity and peppery yeasty spicy, with pronounced accentuation on the spicy aspects, diluted hints of peach and apricot, explicit notes of clove, slightly bready malty background. Full-bodied, lasting finish, well carbonated. Solid Trappist Ale without potential to become iconic.

0.33 l bottle from Saveur Bière, bottled in July 2015 (best before ’AG 211’, the weirdest bottle code I’ve ever seen). Gusher! Clear, golden yellow with a huge, foamy, slowly diminishing, white head. Fruity, yeasty-spicy aroma of banana, clove, peach, vanilla and honeydew. Sweetish, fruity-spicy taste of banana, clove, peach, vanilla and honeydew, followed by a slightly bitter, spicy finish with mainly cloves. Medium body, slightly creamy and effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Tasty and pleasant brew, quite simple and not that deep though. Overall a nice Belgian Ale, apart from this heavily annoying gushing!

500th rating. Pours a nice rich toffee color from the tap. Classic Belgian ale fruitiness, some candi sugar, dries out nicely. Good beer.

Lichte geur en smaak van vitabis-koeken en banaan. Drinkt gemakkelijk door, sprankelend, lichte bitter en alcohol in nasmaak
