22 ounce bottle into pint glass; no bottle dating, but was purchased recently. Pours slightly hazy reddish orange color with a nice 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of caramel, grapefruit, orange zest, mango, pineapple, toast, bread, slight pine, floral, grass, and light herbal spiciness. Nice and pleasant aromas with a good balance of malt/hop aromas. Taste of caramel, grapefruit, orange, pine, bread, light mango, pineapple, floral, grass, bread, toast, and herbal spiciness. Fair amount of herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, citrus, pine, grass, floral, tropical fruits, toast, bread, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a bit. Good complexity of hop flavors and very balanced between bitterness/sweetness; with almost zero cloying flavors present after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very creamy and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with nearly zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a nice IPA. Some nice hop flavor complexity with a very balanced malt backbone; and very smooth to drink. I enjoyed this quite a bit.

tap at Dash In - Pours dark and mostly clear amber-brown with a small off-white head. It has a mild caramel malt aroma. The flavor is sweet, mild, and bland. There’s a little caramel and in the finish some rather generic hop bitterness. It’s light to medium bodied and overall a disappointment.

tap at Brewhaven festival - Pours hazy amber and has a grapefruit hop aroma. There’s a big citrus hop flavor that’s balanced by a solid malt profile. Medium bodied with a crisp, bitter finish, it’s a good IPA.

Sample at Twenty Tap in Indianapolis. Pours dark brown with a medium thin beige head that dissipates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt, roasted nuts and hops. Light body with a sweet malty character with notes of toffee and mildly bitter hops. The finish is malty with a short sweet aftertaste. Decent overall.

Decent overall.

Guest tap at Dark Lord Day. Very cloudy doppelbock brown. Thin head, but I got a snootful in my nose anyway. Then a little fruit and a doppelbock raisin smell. Definitely a fresh keg, because the taste has a lot of yeast. Very thick and malty. Alcohol is definitely present, and a taste of stone fruit. Just very strong with a ton of malt flavor. Kind of sweet, though not overly done.

On draught at Heorot in Muncie, IN. The beer is a mostly clear dark amber color with thin and dense light beige head that evaporates slowly. Thick rings of lacing on the glass. Grapefruity hops aroma with some malty notes. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops profile and notes of citrus and bready malt. The finish is hoppy and floral with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent IPA overall.
