Draught @ The Hoptimist, Manhattan (Jan 2024). Pours clear dark brown with with red highlights, large spongy dark beige head, faint dark roasted malt aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter lightly citrusy dark roasted malt taste, thin body, long finish. Smooth but not very obviously hoppy.

On tap at Proletariat. Thick black with a huge, lacey cap of beige head. Nose has coffee and malt and cocoa and raisinette. Flavors same. Very creamy finish makes it super approachable. 8 4 8 5 15

Draught @ Broadway Dive Bar, Manhattan (April 2023). Clear dark amber with a small frothy beige head, roasted malt aroma, high carbonation, bitter caramel malt taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Nothing to boast about.

Draught @ Double Windsor, Brooklyn (May 2023). Inky black with huge beige creamy head, faint roasted malt aroma, medium carbonation, bitter roasted malt taste, faint nutty flavor, smooth thin body, long bitter finish. Very smooth and creamy.

Draught @ Greats Of Craft, Manhattan (Nov 2022). Dark brown with faint red highlights, foamy dark beige head, faint coffee aroma, low carbonation, bitter coffee taste, smooth somewhat thick body, long finish. Bitter but easy to drink.

On tap at DeCicco’s in Armonk, NY. Opaque black pour with a small creamy tan head. Roasted malt aroma. Earthy, nutty malt notes. Some residual sweetness. Smooth and creamy. Very nice.
