So happy the Moose here in Exeter has Spyglass on draft!! Flavor is bold citrus fruits upfront with some herb and grapefruit rind. Bitterness balances the sweet fruit and malt. Another well crafted IPA from Spyglass!

Can (9/2/20) from the brewery. Appearance is opaque yellow-orange (but on the pale side) with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-plus width white rocky foam head with excellent retention and mild foamy lacing. Aroma is strong initial melon, kiwi, candied fruit and citrus but fades pretty quickly as it sits. Later mild herb and malt backbone. Taste is pineapple, grapefruit, bit of herb and melon. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a mix of aromas and flavors that don't precisely line up for added interest.

Can (8/26/20) pour from the brewery. Appearance is opaque dark yellow with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-plus white foamy head with decent retention and tons of soapy lacing. Aroma is strong apricot and citrus. Taste is strong juice following aroma with light herb as well. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thick texture (hate to say it but this is one instance where lactose adds), soft carbonation and somewhat dry finish as taste. Overall, not terribly complex but great strength to the aroma and taste with nice look and mouthfeel. Real nice.
