Can from the Source. Hazy murky lemon yellow with a small but long lasting bubbly white head. Tropical citrus earth and light grass against a sweet fresh baked bready yeasty maltiness. Hints of spicy alcohol and a light gritty mouthfeel. Nice brew.

Can from the Source. Pours a hazy dark straw color with limited clarity and a frothy off white head that shows moderate retention. Dripping with juicy citrus and tropical notes sweet bready malt behind it.

Can from the brewery. Lightly hazy dark straw color with a thin white head that slowly recedes. Earthy citrus and lots of pine and resin on the nose. Dank on top of sweet bready malt. Pretty tasty.

16 oz can, Shared by tfontana, thanks for this. Aroma shows yeast Phenols. Hay, Lemon, miscellaneous citrus. Flava reminds me more of a Belgian Wit bier as opposed to a saison. Black pepper note. Citrus is dominant. Refreshing.

Can (9/9/20) pour from the brewery. Appearance is opaque dark yellow with no sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is strong lemon citrus, mild tart fruit and bubblegum. Taste is initial blast of tart fruit and yeast, then lemon and bubblegum, grainy backbone. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, decent complexity and strength.

5 oz. draft. Great blend of hops. Hidden alcohol, soft mouthfeel, slightly lingering grassy bitterness. Really well balanced. Another real good brew from Spyglass.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Fresh can from the brewery. About 2 weeks old. Bold citrus and grass aroma. Flavor has orange peel, mild pineapple, with A soft lingering grassy bitterness. Light juice texture. Pretty much the Prototypical beer with these three hops.

16 oz. can. Big thanks going to tfontana on this trade. Aug 2020 canning date. Aroma is just wheat and yeast. Flavor is soft citrus, traces of grass, and candied fruit. Absolutely no flaws. However, it just seems really basic. Maybe it wasn’t fair having a Mast Landing brew right before this?

Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light brown with no sparkle, two-finger width white foamy head with excellent retention and tons of lacing. Aroma is strong pineapple, mild herb/vegetal. Taste is strong fruit first half, grains second half, mild vegetal. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with grainy texture, soft carbonation and sweet initial finish that morphs to dry, yeasty, malty slightly herbal. Overall, ok but not their best. Second half/ finish doesn’t float your boat.

5 oz draft. The mouthfeel is creamy and fuller. Huge plus is I cant taste sweet sugar. Flavor had bolder citrus peel with soft lingering Amarillo hop herbal pine. Balanced. Pretty nice. I like to be surprised!
