Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

Can. Cloudy orange beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and fairly dry, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Softish malts, light cream and a touch of caramel. Light smooth pine, slightly sweet. Modest tangerine citrus. Some mild Nelson grape. Whisper of Wai-iti lime if you are looking for it. Smooth finish. Needs some patience this one. Wai-iti has never been a shouty hop and Nelson is a pale shadow of what it was, but overall this beer charms.
