Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Hazy amber, creamy head. Grapefruity hop aroma. Very dry and light bodied. Quite lively with some lightly dusty malt behind a curtain of hops. A drinkable, hoppy, very light ale. Probably my favourite of the summer beers at Københavnske Øldage.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy, amber golden with a very weak head. Fantastic fruity hop aroma - peach in particular. Light in body - perhaps even a tad watery - completely dominated by the fruity accents from the hops. The malt base is very timid, as expected in a beer of this low strength. Not much bitterness either. But a very quenching experience. 090507

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours an almost clear, dark amber with a dense, off-white head leaving some lacework. Sweetish aroma of caramel and some flowery hop accents. Quite full-bodied, lightly sweet caramel and then a solid, hoppy finish. 090407

(Bottle 50 cl) Completely black and opaque beer with a tall, dense, inch thick, light brown head that leaves a pretty lacework. This really is one goodlooking beer. The aroma is full of fat, burned malts - even a bit vinous. Extremely full-bodied, this pours thick and tar-like. Extremely solid notes of roasted malt with burned touches, some fruit and a discreet, underlying sweetness. Ends fairly bitter. A grand Impy indeed. 010407 and 070907
