13/9/2019. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours mid to dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of carob, toffee, hops, citrus, moderate roasted malt, cocoa and lactose. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, some creaminess to the texture, soft carbonation. Nice roasty bitter finish. Great example of the style. Very well done.

13/9/2019. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours thick murky dark pink/red/purple with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, citrus, lactose, vanilla, sour berries and berry ice cream. Medium sweetness with light tartness. Medium body, slight creamy texture, average to soft carbonation. Gentle milky fruity tart finish. Liked this!

Cask at ORB, Darlington. Black colour, beige foam head leaving lacing and aroma of roasty malt, chocolate & coffee, some biscuit. Taste is malty, roasted, dried fruit, chocolate and coffee with woody oaky bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Cask at ORB, Darlington. Hazy amber colour, white foam head leaving lots of lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, zesty lemon citrus, hoppy. Taste is sweet, malt caramel, juicy fruits, lemony citrus, pine and hop resiny bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry fruity hop finish. Nicely drinkable

Cask at ORB, Darlington. Golden colour, white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of pale malt, hop. Taste is pale malty, onion, soapy, tangy with a resiny hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite OK

Keg at ORB, Darlington (without the ice cream). Black colour, no head and aroma of ice cream, biscotti biscuit, malt, milk chocolate. Taste is sweet malty, dark chocolate, biscuity, molasses, coffee and roasty, earthy bitterness. Full bodied, soft carbonation, roasty bitter biscuity finish. Nicely drinkable

Taste is sweet, malt caramel, juicy fruits, floral citrus, some pine and resiny hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable

Cask at ORB, Darlington. Black brown colour, beige foam head leaving lacing and aroma of roast malt & citrusy hop. Taste is roasted, malty, chocolate, meaty, leathery, smokey hint, with floral citrusy pine hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty bitter finish with some lingering hop. Very drinkable BIPA.

Keg at ORB, Darlington. Hazy purple colour, pink foam head and aroma of slight berry hint. Taste is sweet fruity berry, blackberry, sour, citric rind, lime, some grain. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry sour berry finish. Nicely drinkable
