6.5% edition, canned. It pours clear deep red - brown bread with a small, bubbly beige head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, warming festive spice, red fruits and berries, cherry, cherry cola, Dr pepper, candi sugar and mellow roast. The taste is initially dry, bitter - sweet, super fruity, tangy cherry, strawberry, bramble , raspberry, blueberry, jammy, fig, warming spice, touch of tannin, toasty malt, some vinous about it and mellow alcohol presence with a dry, fruity finale. Medium body and fine to moderate carbonation. Super fruity and very drinkable.

Keg at Innis & Gunn Brewery Tap - the one in Glasgow city centre. Amber-brown with a small head. Its lemon is more obvious in taste than aroma, although it's fighting against quite a robust bittered pale texture and taste for this lower end strength brew.

Cask at Ben Nevis in Glasgow, although I could only see hills in the distance from the city, not mountains! Slightly hazy golden with a small head. Citrus aroma, pine in taste with a lingering aftertaste in this respect.

Hazy golden beer, white head. Aroma.is floral, with honey and malt. Honey in the flavour too as you'd hope, with a bit of citrus, sweet bread malt, a little hop. Good body, a very nice honey variant of a tripel.

Can. Hazy orange beer, decent pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light dry caramel and cream malts, fine, but a bit boxy! What does boxy mean? Perhaps a little wet cardboard, but mostly just a gut reaction. Very ripe fruits on the back end, borderline fermenting. Light and fairly dry finish. Okay. But, not a single element here has anything in common with any great barleywine I can recall..a slightly savoury and mildly spicy finish. At best immature at worst, quite naive.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM I think. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Lightly sweet with some certain yeast character, a little bubble gum, grass, wheat flakes, lemon peel, biscuits. Light bodied with active carbonation. Decent balance to finish, some grassy hops, more citrus peel, saison yeast, straw, grain husk, more dried wheat. Tasty saison.

Can. A light haze on this yellow gold beer, decent bubbly pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, just moderate fine carbonation. Smooth as a baby's arse pale malts, modest sweetness, but not undersweet. Mild lager tang in the mid. The Saaz and Kazbek hops deliver a smooth soft pine, a juicy soft floral lemon, and a watery but not unpleasant fruit melange. Trace of like before the light semi dry finish. Nice Pils, very quaffable. Could definitely be a tad crisper mind.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy pale golden - orange with minimal head. The aroma is soft, sweet, tangy orange marmalade, peach cordial, green banana, banana split, light spice, wheat cracker, honey and biscuit. The taste is firmly dry, bitter - sweet, tangy, juicy, bright, orange marmalade, peach ice tea, green banana, slightly chalky, honey cake, warming spice, biscuit, cracker, wheaten bread and a nip of booze with a drying finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Drinks easier than it should. Decent enough, but would be elevated with a hearty dose of carbonation.
