Panda at home, thanks to Dave, 05/03/23. Golden to light copper with a white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is boozey, stewed fruits, biscuit, caramel, toasted grains. Taste comprises fruit slice, spice, grains, biscuit, toffee, booze. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Passable affair ... a little harsh and boozey in places and lacking depth.

Panda 🐼 at home big thanks to Wingman. A mostly clear deep orange coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma is semi sweet nutty base malts, toast, pine, grassy, little stale hop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, earthy base malts, orange rind, light woody pine, strawberry, dried fruits. Palate is semi sweet, nutty, moderate carbonation.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - light brown and opaque. Creamy white head. Nose - honey, wood, sweet spice, candied orange and toffee. Taste - booze, wood, light Sherry oxidation and dried orange. Palate - medium bodied, oxidised and tangy in the middle. Dry, woody and oxidised finish. Overall - I think this is authentic to the history. I'm just not sure it's my thing today.

Can. A light haze on this yellowish gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, a decent fine minerally crispness. Thin malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Touch of straw. Mild floralness into very watery citrus which is elevated by crisp pine. Light semi dry finish. Crisp and refreshing if lacking a little punch in the flavour department.

18th February 2023 Can. Hazy orange beer, small cream colour head. A light and semi dry palate that starts out smooth but soon develops a fine minerally carbonation. Chevalier malts announce their richness almost immediately, that slightly sweet and savory wet straw vibe. Thin creamy sweetness. Light but great lime from the Archer hops, almost a key lime. Looking for the apple that is described on the label, yeah maybe a little floral apple under a modest piney note. Power of suggestion? A spicy floralness on the back end. Finishes light and dry. Solid British brew, went down very easy.

Perfect first impression of this as it looks exactly like a classic bitter. Clear amber, very little carbonation, thick just-off-white head. Smells malty with a bit of spice. Flavour has citrus zest, grapefruit, sweet malt, a bit of spice, some mellow but distinct hops. Has a fairly citric bittersweet finish. Reminiscent in the best way of Siren's ESB from their Project Barista range. It's a British (English really, I would say?) style bitter but done REALLY well, when so many of them are generic. I wish more craft brewers would have a go at this style like STF have here.

Hazy amber beer, white head. Tropical fruit and grassy hop aroma. Flavour has citrus ,grassy hop, grapefruit, a bit of mango. Crisp, fruity, very nice.

Can ordered from Hop, Black & Burns. Aroma had sweet malts and nougat, with dark fruit, berries and spice. Dark opaque amber brown. Foamy translucent white head soon fizzles out. Medium-heavy bitter with a sour edge. Dark fruit, berries and liquorice. Real tangy. Underlying dark chocolate malts. Spice most prominent into the finish. Medium bodied. Creamy. Soft lazily fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable spiced stuff.
