Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 7C). Bottle 50 cl - Batch 0822 (BBF 13.08.19). AROMA: medium malt aroma with a slight toasty note. APPEARANCE: amber color and translucent. medium ivory head, moussy, with average retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium-low malt flavor with a slight toasty note. medium-low bitterness almost balanced (slightly towards malt). finishes almost dry. PALATE: medium to medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a nice vollbier with extra notes.

Crystal clear amber. Malt forward, but still somewhat thin on the body, possibly a bit oxidized at 6 months old. D&S Dresden

Hazy, amber colored, medium to strong white to off white frothy head. Aroma is of bready wheat malt, bready yeasty notes with some banana, clove in the background, bit caramel, bit oldish. Taste is medium sweet malt, wheat, banana bready, some caramel, light cloves, bit apple notes, light bitterness, dryish inish. Medium bodied, average carbonation, bit oily.

500ml Bottle - Very dark brown with a tan head. Banana, raisins and chocolate in the aroma. Sweet taste with banana, luquorice and roasted malt detected. Nice but a bit too sweet.

From the bottle. Dark orange with a frothy white head that lingers. Aroma is herbal and full of banana. Taste is mildly sweet, turning sweeter at the end with notes of overripe banana and vanilla pudding. Body is medium, carbonation moderate. Texture is watery and the watery feeling throughout the swill gives the beer an empty character. Drinkable.

0,5 l bottle. Clear dark golden, two finger white head. Low grainy smell, little bit apple fruity. Taste is malty, caramell, grain, more than expected. Spicy. Also a nice low bitterness. Easy drinking tasty Helles.

0,5 l bottle from our local Hol´Ab! market. Murky orange golden in the glass, huge foamy white head. Couldn´t expect more. Wheat and yeast smell, low fruity. Taste is more fruity, mainly orange, banana in the background. Low wheat and yeast. High carbonated. Expected more deepness in the aroma.

0,5 l bottle from our local Hol' Ab! market. Dark red golden nearly copper and clear in the glass with a mighty more than two finger pale beige frothy head. Smells malty with some sweetness. Taste is malty, spicy, some caramell. Low increasing bitterness. Nice stuff.
