Bottle. Pours clear light copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of caramel malt and yeast, with notes of hops and touches of fruit. Sweetish flavour of malt, caramel and yeast, complemented by bitter, hoppy and metallic notes. Sweetish, bready aftertaste with estery notes. Reasonably well-balanced and easily drinkable but nothing really extraordinary.

Lahev: Golden and clear, stable and lacy white head; moderate grainy-strawy nose with papery and metallic graces; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium bodied and pretty soft; unfortunately again papery traces in the soft bitter-sweet finish. Not too bad, but all in all disappointing…

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a big and foamy white head. Mildly grainy and strawy malty aroma with a tinge of draff, as well as a whiff of subtle fruity and slightly spicy hops. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly strawy malty base with shades of caramel, backed by a discreetly herbal and subtle fruity background; sweet and restrained bitter finish with delicately bready malt and lighter herbal hops. A fine and well-crafted Helles. 23.VI.14
