Farblich fällt es hier schwer zu entscheiden, ob es sich um ein helles oder dunkles Weißbier handelt. Geschmacklich ist es aber bei den dunklen Weißbieren einzuordnen. Deutliche Eisennote. Darüber hinaus aber sehr lecker, ausgewogen, malzig, aber auch hefig, weich und süffig. Hat nen eigenen, typischen Geschmack. Ein interessantes Weißbier.

Strong banana flavor. Sweetish with a hint of lemon. Just a touch of yeast. Re-rate after 4 years. Bottle @ home. Brown color, cloudy. Clove, yeast and banana in the aroma and flavor. Notes of citrusfruit. Medium bodied, herbal weizen.

50cl bottle at Circus, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy amber with medium white foam, persistent and medium grained. Aroma is fruity, eaters give banana. Body is average with good carbonation. Taste is fairly sweet but not excessive. Finish is average.

Bottle. Pours hazy copper brown with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and fruit, with notes of yeast. Sweetish, malty and estery flavour with notes of fruit and caramel and bitter touches of hops. Roasty and estery aftertaste with some dry notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Decent.

Bottle, 7.0%. Spicy aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Big stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is quite spicy as well, nutmeg, dry spices, not sweet or perfumy. Very spicy, but seems to be brewed without spices. I like it, and it reminds me of a well-balanced Christmassy beer. Does not taste much like Weizenbock to me, though. 737316
