Description
Our first love was the hazy, hoppy New England style pales and IPAs so you'll find plenty of these on our menus. Although we have three core beers (Cosmic Dust, Termination Shock and Galaxies Apart), we love experimenting so you can expect new releases every month to keep things interesting. We've recently started testing the water with some sours and stouts...more of these to come soon.

Tap at Sommar, Waterloo St, Brum. Hazy yellow gold with small white top, great lacing. Juicy spiky citrus, light minerals, modest but long building bitterness. Great session fare.

Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. The pale malts are thin in the mouthfeel but provide a decent sweetness. Light crisp cooling pine. Some light savoury skunk into reasonably bright citrus. Passion fruit? Yes! A little underneath the skunk. Crisp finish. Nice apa, does a good job with both hops. Just a slightly more rounded mouthfeel would be good.

Can. A light haze on this orange gold beer, good white head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light pale malts, flirting with thin, a thin creamy sweetness. NZH109 hops bring a good burst of tropical fruits with quite a candyish edge. Mango, guava for sure, touch of mandarin. Light cooling pine throughout. Didn't really get any Citra here, no objections, enjoying this new New Zealand hop.

Draft at Beerarama, Eastbourne. Poured a hazy golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, orange tangerine citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, somewhat light, juicy orange citrus, hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
