--Keg at Courlander, Ventspils. -- Hazy pale golden, small head. Distinct aroma of banana and cloves. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Doughy white bread, cloves and banana. Low bitterness.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Mama Nasha. Pours clear copper with a frothy, mostly white topping. Light sweet flavour with notes of toasted biscuits, a little oily grass, caramel, grains, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with notes of mellow caramel, toasted grains, light bitterness, nips of golden raisins. Quite so so overall.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Mama Masha. On the label this one is called ‘Light Beer.’ Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy, white topping. Nice bready-biscuity character, light sweetness, a little honey, pale grain, hay. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sweet finish, pale bread, biscuits, sun-kissed pale grains, mellow bitterness. Very drinkable pils.

Smell- weak, malty, faint roast, Foam- malty, weak sweetness, weak roast, faint bitter tones, neutral. Head is medium-sized, light brown color. Appearance - generic red bottle cap, somewhat simple label. From - teacup. Taste - malty, weak roast, faint caramel, faint bitter tones. Very neutral and easy drinking.

50cl bottle from Lauvas alus webshop. Pours clear mahogany coloured with a tanned head. Mild malty aroma with some roasty note and hints of dried fruits and caramel. Medium sweet with rahter low flavour intensity and not much bitterness. Feels a bit thin and watery, but drinkable enough.
