Many thanks to Bryne for sharing a 330ml bottle of this one. Fair white head to a next-to-clear amber coloured body. Rings of lace down the glass. Moderate smell of grassy hops, hints of ripe citrus. Malt-fruity flavours with a mix of leafy hops and grain. Ends bittersweet and half-dry. Satisfying. (Rating session with Finn and Bryne, Tromsø 15.07.2020).

Bottle, courtesy of Inbreak. A lightly oily pour reveals a murky dark brown beer with no head, just a thin rim of bubbles. The aroma is coffee-driven, with a good dash of dark chocolate. Roasted and burnt malts, hints of bonfire and a slightly sourish, almost berry-like coffee scent. That sourish coffee touch can be found in the mouth too, with flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, bonfire, some salty licorice and puffed oats. It's full-bodied, lightly sweet and also rather dry, with a soft carbonation and a hint of warmth. Sour coffee and burnt malts in the finish. A decent first encounter, although a bit messy. 200618
