Bottle. Looks more like a brown ale than a pale ale. Aroma and flavor too moves in that direction. Nut brown ale, perhaps amber, in style. Nuts, toffee, caramel and a touch of chocolate. Some prune and hints of yeast. Drinkable, nothing more. 43437 260227

Bottle, bought at the source. A quite generic pilsner, lightly malty and fruity. Some piney, grassy notes. Rather gentle bitterness. Decent. 646411 251227

Bottle, from the source. A quite spiced one, star anise seems to be the star of the show, followed by cloves and ginger. Lightly roasted, with licorice and burnt notes. Lacks a bit on body, as expected from a beer this strength, and I find the spices to be a bit unbalanced, again, probably due to the ABV and body fullness. But overall, a decent brew. 646312 251226

Bottle. The label says Double IPA, but at 4.7 % ABV, that is pushing the limits. Quite a lot. Anyway, for a session IPA it's a hefty one, more malty and sure more piney and bitter than a usual SIPA. Quite bitter too. So anyway, it could resemble a West Coast DIPA, but it lacks a bit on body, and overall it's not particularly exciting. 646413 251226
