Description
Font Salem is a Spanish company that markets its products both in Spain and in neighboring Portugal. Their strength is making beer, soft drinks and water for third parties. Their industry experience is over 25 years, as they have earned the trust of the major companies they work with (Mercadona, El Corte Inglés, Lidl, Eroski etc.). Grupo Damm acquired the company in several steps since 1999.

The company has three plants, two in Valencia and one in Portugal. The one in El Puig de Santa María, in Valencia, is dedicated to brewing beer, the second, in Salem, Valencia, makes soft drinks. The Santarém factory in Portugal produces both beer and soft drinks.

Big tick sized bottle from spar pto alcudia close to the eroski that is not at the beach road. 1l is the only option. Practical screw cap, beer anywhere. Clear yellow white head. Aroma is malty , cereal faint sweet. Flavor is watery , bitter from alc. Very mild flavor and not a particularly pleasant one. Font Salem can do much better than this one

bottle from eroski supermarket alcudia. hazy yellow, smooth offwhite head. yeast, wheat and faint fruity banana in the aroma. aroma appears a bit flat. easy drinking malty, slightly wheaty flavor. very low bitterness, hints of banana, the not so agressive wheat and banana flavor combined with the low bitterness matches up and makes it still drinkable, without being cloying. easy to drink wheat, pleasant flavor.

Can on holiday in Mallorca from eroski supermarket. Aroma is slightly sweet malts, some corn, little grassy, quite subdued. Pale golden yellow coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Crystal clear. Flavour is big rusty penny, metallic , some adjunct. Palate is light with highish carbonation. Kind of a weird tangy lingering flavour, grainy on the tongue. Some headache inducing alcohols.

330ml can bought in bottle shop in Taren Point, Sydney. Into schooner glass. Pepper nose, interesting. Very Pale amber beer with white head which sticks a little. Sweet taste followed by even sweeter aftertaste. It’s like bubblegum, popcorn, and cardboard. Possibly sweeter than Aguila. This beer does not know what a hop is.
