Can. A lightly hazy chestnut colored beer with a small beige head. Raisin, bread crust, toffee and a touch of roasted malts in the aroma. It's full bodied, lightly warning, decently sweet and with a soft carbonation. Malty flavor too, nuts, toffee, raisin and some nuts in the flavor. Long malt driven finish. A pleasant beer, in the Norwegian Christmas beer tradition. 201128

Can, courtesy of the brewer. A dark brown beer with a dark beige head. A bit weak aroma, roasted malts, cocoa and a nutty touch. It's medium bodied, soft and semi-dry, with a light nutty flavor. Cocoa, roasted malts and some dried fruits. Long finish. A straight forward easy drinkable beer suffering from the ABV level. 201128

Can. It's close to black in the glass, with a small dark beige head. The aroma has lots of honey, a good dash of coffee and some roasted malts and chocolate, some spiced notes. It's quite thin on the palate, softly carbonated, with lots of sweetness. Honey, roasted, dark chocolate notes and a touch of coffee. Long finish. Rather weird this one, with some interesting elements. 201107

Can. A dark brown beer with a small beige head. Quite roasted aroma, with coffee notes, some dark chocolate and even a burnt hint. Some alcohol hints and a touch of licorice. It's full-bodied, both dry and lactose sweet on the palate, and a decent carbonation. Roasted malts, coffee grit, dark chocolate and hints of licorice and bonfire in the flavor. Long finish with lots of dark flavor. Quite decent, but a bit drier and burnt than I prefer. 201107
