Can. A hazy candy red beer with a small white head. Lacing. The aroma has a good dash of redcurrant, with cherry and a light lemony touch. It's medium bodied and tart, with a gentle carbonation. Redcurrrant, lemon, cherry and a touch of bread in the flavor. Lasting finish. Rather messy, but sort of nice. 240831

0,33 flaske fra Vaaland 1889 via Brynes Spedisjon, hjemme: klar lys gylden med litt bunnfall (bb.23.06.24) og upåklagelig skum. Lys malt og citrus i fint samspill, og intet metallisk preg i avslutningen. Et bra alkoholfritt alternativ hvis man ikke kan ha den nødvendige styringspromillen.

Bottle. It's almost black in the glass, topped by a small, dense beige head. Nice lacing. Spiced aroma with toffee, caramel and some dark chocolate and a biscuity touch. Cinnamon. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, well hidden alcohol, and nicely carbonated. Dark dried fruit, cardamon, toffee and a touch of dark chocolate and alcohol. Medium length finish. A messy one, with some interesting elements. 240717
