250ml draught, 8 % abv, at ØX tap room. A pearl white head blanketing the glass. Cloudy orange coloured body. Sweet fruity nose, some oily hos to it. Caramel fruity flavours added by impact of Belgian yeast strains. Dried and sweet fruity ending with warming alcohol. Well bodied but a bit too sweet in the long run. (Trondheim 22.06.2017).

250ml draught, 7.0 % abv, at the tap room. Snow white head leaving spotty lacing behind, Next to clear amber coloured body. Leafy hops and tropical fruits on the nose. Hop fruity taste of apricot, peaches and pine. Ends with a solid bitter touch. Well bodied and rounded mouth feel. Pleasant version of the style. (Trondheim 22.06.2017).

250ml draught at the brewpub. Spotty lacing from a low, off-white head. Hazy amber body. Modest smell of bread and citrus. Grainy malts and mid-sweet fruity taste followed by a bittersweet fruity ending. Not watered at all. Old school bitter (described as an English Pale Ale at the pub). (Trondheim 22.06.2017).

On tap at BD57, Oslo. Clear dark brown to mahogany coloured with a lasting, beige head. Malty and slightly nutty aroma with roasty notes, dark fruits and hints of wood. Fra fat på På Kornet, Stavanger: lett uklar gylden med eksemplarisk skum som varer til siste dråpe. Deilig, fruktig anslag både i aroma og smak - bitre appelsiner, mango, papaya, sukat og hvit pepper. Lang og god ettersmak med kraftig bitterhet preget av (over)modne citrusfrukter.

From tap at På Kornet with BHK 12.04.17. Slightly hazy orange. Off-white head. Interesting and complex roma of old and dry citrus and burnt circuit boards. Mango, lychee, papaya, passion fruit, other tropical fruits and Sevilla orange marmalade in fruity taste. Medium bitterness. Good drinkability. Interesting.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head, slightly hazy. Aroma is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, paper, old lawn, sawdust, bark, flowers, hay, harsh hops, alcohol, fruit stones, leafs. Taste is harsh grassy, weeds, old moss, minerals, bark, alcohol, harsh grass, hops, medicine, harsh citrus peel, hay, sawdust. Longlasting harsh bitterness, slightly medical mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.
