Can. It's a hazy golden colored beer with a light brownish hue and a small, dense, firm off-white head. The aroma is rather subtle, both coffee and grapefruity, piney hops, and a light bready maltyness. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, a tad heavy on the carbonation, with flavors of coffee, dark chocolate, pine cones and grapefruit. Quite a lot of orange showing up too after a while. Long finish with the coffee and hops well mixed. An interesting and nice brew I bet would be even better if brewed to hit around 6% ABV and perhaps a little bit sweeter. 201231

Can from Gulating. Unclear golden body under a big, lacing, creamy white head. Aroma has pale malt, hint of toffee, mature citric fruit, some pine and a weak hint of coffee. Taste is sweet, soft, malt, refreshing citric fruit, peaches, a bit sharp bitterness and just a hint of coffee. Balanced body and the same fruity aftertaste with a slightly bitter coffee ending. Nice and interesting IPA experiment with a surprisingly balanced body for just a 4,7 % ABV beer.

330ml can from Gulating Advent Calendar #22, shared with Eivind Arne. Bright golden body, filmy layer, fair lacing. Moderate smell of pale malts and herbal hops. Smooth taste of pale malts and ripe lemony fruits followed by a rounded ending of distant piney bitterness. Drinks well. Pretty nice.

Blended with some of Norway's best coffee proklamerer bryggeriet, men meg bekjent dyrkes der ikke kaffe i Norge.
