Tap @ Nedre Foss Gård (restaurant). Ordered together with my aperitif oysters. Clear, dark brown, close to black body under a moderate sized, dense tan head. Aroma has mild toasted, dark malt. Taste is medium sweet, toasted dark malt, hint of brown sugar, slightly piny and some balanced bitterness. Balanced body with same aftertaste. Well made and surprisingly balanced for a 4.7% beer. Also a good match for my oysters.

400ml draught at Nedre Foss Gård Restaurant, in friendly company with Snegurochka and TheCellarer. Declining white head over a clear warm golden body, clingy lacing. Moderate taste profile of white bread and herbal hops. Smooth taste with mid-sweet malts, bread, and noble hops. Pale malt driven finish. Medium bodied. Fine partner to our reindeer food. 200ml draught, sample tray at Nedre Foss Gård. Deep dark brownish body, covering off-white head, fair lacing. Inviting smell of caramel malt, semi-dry. Well blended taste of caramel, bread, and nuts. Long-lived ending, mid-sweet, malt-driven. Well bodied. Likeable. (Oslo, 01.11.2023).

200ml draught, sample tray at Nedre Foss Gård. Patchy surface, clingy lacing and a rather deep ruby-black body. Inviting smell dried fruits and caramel moments. Quite similar taste profile of dried fruits, raisin and prunes, added by caramel malts. Rounded mid-sweet malty ending. Fine depth to it. Pretty good. (Oslo, 01.11.2023).

From tap at Nedre Foss Gård, Oslo, with Tormod after day two of three at the Introduction to R course at UiO. Clear goldeb. White head and lacing. Excellent aroma and taste of pilsner malt, meadowy Czech hops and succade. True to style and very quffable! Well brewed!!!

150ml draught, sample tray at Nedre Foss Gård. Fragile lacing from a filmy layer, deep dark ruby coloured body. Inviting aromas of dried fruits joined by mid-sweet brown malts. Balanced, mid-sweet flavours, moments of raisin, prunes, and caramel malts. Smooth, drying close, malt-fruity, not overly sweet. Like it. (Oslo, 16.03.2023)

150ml draught, as Hefeweizen 4.7 % abv, sample tray at Nedre Foss Gård. A very slight haze of wheat to a warm golden body, filmy layer, fair white head. Moderate smell of fruity wheat, mid-sweet. Rather sweet taste of banana, ripe citrus, and wheat, lightly spiced. Wheat fruity ending, a bit mealy on the palate. Fair enough. (Oslo 16.03.2023).
