0,5 flaske fra Det lille Handleri på Vik, julaften hos Einar&co: klar rødlig mahogny med fint skum som varer. Mye barskog og einer i både aroma og smak, litt malt og urter dukker også opp. Slank maltkropp og fin bitterhet i avslutningen, som fortsatt er preget av førsteinntrykkene. Litt endimensjonal, med andre ord.

Bottle shared with KJ at Geiteberg 01.06.23. Clear golden. Diminishing white head. No lacing. Fine and balanced aroma and taste of pilsner malt, grassy hops and Belgian saison yeast. Also a subtle hint coriander.

Bottled (Vinmonopolet Kirkenes). Yellow colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and some herbal and mild earthy notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild alcohol and some earthy and yeasty notes.

500 ml bottle, batch #167, as MikroMeyer Galtebo Altbier, from Gulating ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Mahogany colour, large off-white head. Weird aroma of broth and malts. Malty flavour, not very sweet, notes of brown bread, hints of roast malts, very moderate hops. Not good, waste of money.

500ml bottle, #142, from Vinmonopolet nettbutikk. Shared with Finn. Firm pearl white head, spotty lacing, misty late straw coloured body. Slightly spiced citrus nose. Moderate citrus and grassy hops flavours spiced with coriander. Hints of citrus peels to the ending. Rather anonymous stuff, so and so. (Session at Bergstua, Malangen 29.10.2020).
