Bottle: Reddish-amber to copper coloured, medium-sized off-white head with a little lace, moderate sweetish toasty-nutty nose, unfortunately not without some metallic traces; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; drier toasty-nutty finish, hops and a delicate touch of warming alcohol in the aftertaste. Nice and tasty...

500ml bottle. Clear copper colour with huge, firm, frothy, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly sweet caramel malty aroma, unspecific fruit notes. Taste is moderately sweet caramel malty, minimally toasty, a touch of biscuit, later a minimally sourish fresh fruity note, some bitter hop flashes up right before the finish. Not that bad.

Both a flowery bitterness and a nice lingering grapelike bitterness with slight fruity notes in the flavor. Light amber in color with a white head.

A perfect example of the German pilsener style. Nice heady grain aroma, thick fluffy head and dark golden color. Nice malty flavor with hints of hay, and just enough hops. This is a good one, try it if you can find it....

50cl can shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, fruit and a hint of metal and hops. Slightly metallic taste with a lightly bitter finish. Ok pilsner. (2012-08-11)

Pours a moderate copper/amber color with quite a large light cream foamy head that dissipates slowly. The smell I got was a sweet mixture of malt and some under tone of grapes.

Bottle courtesy of Grima, to complete my Germany map - thank you very much!!! Bright golden yellow color, fluffy white head that settles quickly. Aroma of su tle white pepper. Taste is sweet malt and straw.

Dunkler, geringfügig süßer Beginn. Getreidig im Mittelteil, währendessen milder werdend. Dennoch kernig, cremige Röstnoten. So bleibt das Bier eine zeitlang, dabei wird die Malzigkeit schwächer, ist aber auch im Nachgeschmack noch deutlich erkennbar. Unerwartet gut! 9/11/11/11/10/11

bottle, thank you kappldav! Amber colour, mid-sized head. Malty start with a nice touch of caramel, very slightly fruity (berries) and with hints of darker malts. Hoppy touch in the finish. Again, much better thank expected.
