Unerwartet gut! 9/11/11/11/10/11

bottle, thank you kappldav! Amber colour, mid-sized head. Malty start with a nice touch of caramel, very slightly fruity (berries) and with hints of darker malts. Hoppy touch in the finish. Again, much better thank expected.

bottle, thank you kappldav! Black colour, mid-izsed beige head. Malty, roasetd malts, shy bitterness, shy hints of dark chocolate and coffee, a touch of smoke in the nose. Much better than expected, this is really quite nice.

Yellow colour with a fine white head. FIne mild malt, hoppy and light fruity aroma. A very pleasant mild and tasty pilsner. Malty and light fruity with a fine bitter hoppy finish. I should have bought more of this one. I did miss one pice in The German Bundesländer. So just a stroke of luck i found this gem from Saxony-Anhalt in my last visit to a groucery store on this trip.

Bottle, 5.8%. Lagery aroma, sweetish malty. Clear copper colour. Good stable off-white head. The flavour is quite malty and sweetish with a very caramelly note. A sourish hint balances off the caramel and gives a well-balanced beer.
