Bottle online from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear golden colour with a medium sized fast dissipating white head. Aromas of grains, hay and a little honey and lemon. Taste is sweetish grains and grass with a hint of lemon and lots of hops on the finish. Thinnish body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Refreshing beer. Nothing special but a decent example of the style.

This is just...not pleasant. From one of the three Saxony states, presumably the worst one based on the local water used in this.

Bottle picked up from Rewe Mainburg and consumed at home Sunday 26th September 2021, listening to Hamish Hawk - Heavy Elevator and cooking Gnocchi with Cherry Tomatoes, Feta, Chorizo and King Prawn. Pours mid gold with a white head, pretty decent clarity, bitterness takes a few seconds to kick in, light fruity, dry finish, ok.

0.5 bottle.Classic look, pure straw yellow, soft white thick foam. Smell nothing special, malty, slightly bitter hoppy, beery. At first sip you can tell that it is more bitter than, say, a Helles. It is not overly hoppy. A very precise German-style pilsner, I think every bottle is always the same. Which is very good, we expect this from German beers.
***

500ml bottle delivered from Beers of Europe and drunk at home. Light gold, clear with a little ring of white head. Gluey resin, some hay, citrus, a bit of skunk. Sweet taste with some harsh bitterness coming in toward the finish. Light carbonation. Not great unfortunately but passable.
