Can, Cellars Bentleigh. This version has an ABV of 6.4%. Almost clear golden amber with a good cm of dense white head that lasts well. Some rumbling dope and sappy pine in the aroma but also some floaty tropical and citrus notes, along with light bread. Just medium bodied, medium-high carbonation. Balance of aromatic holds pretty well before resin and a bit of pineapple astringency come though towards the moderately bitter finish. Polished.

Can. Clear darkish brown with a good inch of pale beige head that lasts well. Toasty, floaty aroma with chocolate, orange peel, light biscuit. Quite light bodied. Moderately sweet with chocolate and loads of orange. Lacks a bit of oomph for 7% and the finish is a bit tentative but pretty good.

Can. Clear pale yellowish gold with a white head that sits around a cm. Aroma of grass and white grapes, passionfruit, pine, light biscuit. Rather empty where you'd want some malt presence and body so the hop edifice is sitting on little and the fruit gets a little lost. Dryish with moderate resinous bitterness.

Can says 5.5% ABV. bb 9/22. Orangish amber with a good inch of white head. A slight haze. Citrusy aroma with grapefruit, orange and lemon, some herbal and tropical notes, light crusty bread. 7+ Some berries join light bready sweetness with a melange of citrus flavours before medium high bitterness. Not as fresh as it might be but a good drop.

A fantastic aroma of pine, white wine, grass, tobacco and stonefruit. A balanced, easy-drinker that I had to keep slowing up on.

Tulip on tap at Bine Bar, Mermaid Beach. Cherry red beer with thin film of suds. It really really smells of strawberries. Not sweet, good balanced taste. Finish is sour and dry. Good pink lacing. Lingering eye-watering sourness. Very good sour, I don't know how many you could drink though.

(Can) Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with white head. Unusual aroma of cream soda with funky and woody notes. Good mouthfeel with medium body and great carbonation. Taste is unusual and enjoyable. It’s a sour with tartness from start to finish. Layered on this are two quite different additional flavours that whilst they all contrast they work well together. There’s som earthy funky notes and there’s cream soda. It’s enjoyable and very interesting making you come back for another taste because of the unusual mix of flavours.

Can. Purple with a mauve head. Yes, smells like grapes and grape bubblegum with some wheaty twang behind. And the impression goes on into the taste. There's enough sourness that it's not cloyingly sweet and the bubblegum flavour doesn't quite overwhelm the beer or taste unnatural (whatever that means). Clever indeed but wouldn't have a second time.

375 ml can into schooner glass. Thanks to Beer Cartel and Ratebeer. Identical smell to a Singaporean soft drink (groovy Grape) and an Asian beer (Taiwan Beer Grape) I've had previously. Yep big artificial grape aroma (and colour). Luckily tastes much better than either of those Asian offerings. Tart, easy drinking Berliner with the artificial grape only really noticeable in the lingering finish. Drinkable but not really my thing. I've always read that in summer in Berlin they add fruit flavourings to their Weisses so I guess this is traditionally correct. One is enough.

Can. Guava colour. Artificial grape nose. Delivers on the promise. Mimics grape bubblegum. Alas that doesn't make for a pleasant beer. No real sourness. Sickly sweet.
