(On tap @ Stone Liberty Station, SD, April 4/17) Pours very very dark brown with a pale tan head. Aroma is lactic and citrusy, salty, dry chocolate, some light tart fruit, coriander. Flavour is quite tart, yoghurty lacto, lemon-lime, tart red berries, dark chocolate, salt, lightly sweet malty feel towards the back end. Tart dry finish, very light bitterness. Light body, moderate sparkling carb. Odd, for sure, not quite what I expected but I’m not sure I knew what to expect really! Kept my interest for a sampler.

(On tap @ Stone Liberty Station, SD, April 4/17) Clear dark golden pour, white head, lace. Aroma is dank weedy skunky Simcoe, lots of leafiness. Some citrus peel. Pale malt with some graininess, sulphur, feels like pils? Flavour is dank Simcoe but not hyper concentrated. It’s a bit crackery and pale/pils like, with a little residual sweetness. Again a little skunky in the back, a hint more sulphur? Lightish body, average to above carb. Decent stuff, moderate drinkability, did not love the malt character.

On tap at Stone Liberty Station. A bit hazy brownish with a small head. Aroma and taste of spices, light roasted notes, dried fruit and herbs. The body was light.

On tap at Stone Liberty Station. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of chai spices, cinnamon, coconut, light roasted malt. Similar taste. The body was medium and the mouthfeel kind of creamy.
