Description
1567: Erste urkundliche Erwähnung der Schlossbrauerei Moos. 1789: Johann Kaspar Graf von Preysing legt die Brauereien Aholming und Moos zusammen. Er errichtet aus den Steinen den Grundstock der heutigen Brauerei. 1960: Graf Ulrich Philipp von und zu Arco-Zinneberg fasst sämtliche Brauereien, die im Besitz der gräflichen Familie sind, unter dem Namen Arcobräu zusammen. Stammhaus wird die bis dahin sogenannte Schloßbrauerei Moos.

Wenn die Freude überschäumt, gute Laune nicht zu bremsen ist und die Lust auf ein gutes Bier am größten ist, dann ist man mitten im Leben, mitten in Niederbayern. Da, wo seit fast 500 Jahren unser Arcobräu gebraut wird mit viel Tradition, mit jeder Menge Erfahrung und freilich auch nur mit den besten Zutaten: Unsere Hefe beispielsweise aus eigener Reinzucht, dem allerbesten Hopfen aus der Hallertau oder dem Brauwasser aus unserem 96 Meter tiefen Mineralwasser-Brunnen. Das schmeckt nicht nur den Menschen, die hier leben, sondern mittlerweile Bierkennern in ganz Bayern. Nicht ohne Grund ist das Gräfliche Brauhaus Arcobräu mittlerweile der größte Bier-Lieferant von Volksfesten in Ostbayern.

Bottled@PBF2012. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, some bready notes, mild alcohol as well as some mashlike sweetness. Flavour is sweet malts, ripe fruits and some mild floral notes. Balanced and hides the alcohol well.

Bottle.Golden colour with white.Aroma of hops and malty,flavor is gassy and fruity with hint of citrus and malt,medium body and fresh crispy taste with medium body.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is bready malts, mild salty and grassy notes along with some mild notes of earth cellar. Flavour is sweet and bready malts along with some slight earthy, herbal and grassy notes. Quite oily palate. Surprisingly grassy bitterness in the finish.

Bottle from Venerables. Clear light golden colour, off-white head. Nose is grassy, malty, bit citric. Flavour is grassy, citric, light malted. Well hopped. Medium bodied. Fairly bitter finish. Excellent

Bottle from Venerables. Clear golden colour, white creamy dense head. Nose is grainy, grassy, soft malted. Flavour is soft malty, slight toastiness. Slightly dry and bitter finish.

Bottle from Venerables. Brown - reddish colour, off-white head. Nose is very grainy, bready, brown sugar, caramel, slight roastiness. Flavour is grainy, caramel malts, brown suguar, slightly fruity. Chewy mouthfeeling. Pleasant.
