Description
1567: Erste urkundliche Erwähnung der Schlossbrauerei Moos. 1789: Johann Kaspar Graf von Preysing legt die Brauereien Aholming und Moos zusammen. Er errichtet aus den Steinen den Grundstock der heutigen Brauerei. 1960: Graf Ulrich Philipp von und zu Arco-Zinneberg fasst sämtliche Brauereien, die im Besitz der gräflichen Familie sind, unter dem Namen Arcobräu zusammen. Stammhaus wird die bis dahin sogenannte Schloßbrauerei Moos.

Wenn die Freude überschäumt, gute Laune nicht zu bremsen ist und die Lust auf ein gutes Bier am größten ist, dann ist man mitten im Leben, mitten in Niederbayern. Da, wo seit fast 500 Jahren unser Arcobräu gebraut wird mit viel Tradition, mit jeder Menge Erfahrung und freilich auch nur mit den besten Zutaten: Unsere Hefe beispielsweise aus eigener Reinzucht, dem allerbesten Hopfen aus der Hallertau oder dem Brauwasser aus unserem 96 Meter tiefen Mineralwasser-Brunnen. Das schmeckt nicht nur den Menschen, die hier leben, sondern mittlerweile Bierkennern in ganz Bayern. Nicht ohne Grund ist das Gräfliche Brauhaus Arcobräu mittlerweile der größte Bier-Lieferant von Volksfesten in Ostbayern.

(bottle) Cloudy, orange-amber colour with a big and tanned foamy head. Yeasty and moderately sweet cara-malty and wheaty aroma with notes of banana, peanuts, a tinge of citrus and phenolic spices. Sweet flavour with a light level of acidity, almost medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty and wheaty taste with notes of cara-malt, banana, a nutty touch and a delicately citric sourness towards the sweet malty and mildly spicy finish. Balanced and likeable Weizen. 03.XII.10

Bottled 500ml. -as Edler Sud Bayrisch Hell. Brewed by Arcobräu for Yormas. Yellow/golden coloured, thick white head that went away slowly, few streams of carbonation, grassy nose. Moderate malty, dry grassy and brewing cereals with some odd herbal hint (nettles maybe). Boring helles. 5.4%

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a tiny head. Aroma is lemon, banana and some yeast. Some sharp lemon to start. Yeasty finish. Dry finish, almost non-exsistant in the mouth.

Bottle: Distinctive dark-malty and wheaty nose with a certain fruitiness and traces of cacao; light to medium bodied, very smooth, moderate sweet-sourish and bitter flavour; vinous flavours and a tinge of chocolate in the sweet-sourish finish. A good one...

Bottle. Sweet,earthy barley malt and grass hops aroma. Hazy pale yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet malt and lightly bitter hay hops flavor. Decent body with a nice malty aftertaste. Very nice.

Bottle. Honey malt and light hay hops aroma. Clear pale yellow color with only a slight head. Sweet light honey malt flavor and lightly bitter grassy hops flavor. Drinkable but forgettable.

Bottle. Sweet banana, orange, clove and wheat malt aroma - nice. Cloudy yellow-brown color with nice off-white head. Lightly sweet banana, orange, clove and wheat malt flavor. Nice body. Very good weizen
