Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear pale yellow with some fizzy white bubbles lasting several minutes. Nose of sharp apple skin and pith, icing sugars, vanilla. Taste of sharp but sweet apple juice, skins, vanilla, brut yeast earthiness giving off an almost lemon juice note. Quite dry, spritzy carbonation. I was expecting a fairly standard cider so this was a nice surprise. Something a bit different and it works well.

Bottle shared in Canary Wharf - cheers to Daniel the Osprey. Pours clear pale yellow with a fluffy, white head. Light-medium sweet flavour, little musty, some green apple, bitter peel. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Dry finish, a little anise, more apple skins, low sweetness. Not bad.

28/10/2020. Sample courtesy of danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear very pale gold with minimal head. Aroma of sweet apple, apple pie, touch of sulphur. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Moderate body, oily texture, bit above average carbonation. Nice tart finish improved initial impressions.

500ml bottle from Busby's Cellar online. Pale yellow gold colour, fizzy white foam head that dissipates to a thin layer and aroma of tangy apple, vanilla. Taste is sweetish, crisp apple, white wine, mellow, citric, with some vanilla notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, medium-dry finish. Nicely drinkable.
