(Bottle 75 cl) Bottle # 8472 - courtesy of joergen. Pours a strongly cloudy golden with a tall, dense, off-white head leaving laces. Distinct aroma of dill and salt. Medium body with a very soft mouthfeel, sweetish, fruity notes and perhaps a vague edge of licorice. Fortunately the dill is not to be found in the flavour - it’s not a spice I really like in my beer. Basically no bitterness. Perhaps this beer is interesting from a brewmaster’s point of view - it’s NOT from a beer lover’s. Sorry, would’ve loved to like it, but I simply don’t. 060407

Golden beer with a disappearing white head. Weak aroma of roses and caramel. Same notes in the sweet flavour, the roses making it almost perfume-y. The front label says "dry-hopped pale ale" which is obviously not promising much. But the back tells tales of much hopped beers for sea travel 250 years ago - which has nothing to do with this watered down crowd-pleaser.
