Bottle from Patricks. Slightly unclear golden-brown body under a big white head. Aroma has malt, bread and ripe citric fruit with pine. Taste is medium sweet, soft, smooth malt, citric fruit, orange marmalade, some pine and balanced bitterness. Fine body and same aftertaste. Feels a bit gentle on the hop part, but very smooth and nice malt flavor.

Bottle. Almost clear golden body under a medium sized white head. Aroma is totally dominated by star anise and then some lemon juice to be found after the fist anise shock. Taste is too dominated by star anise and licorices, then some lemon and fruit drops. Medium body and same aftertaste. Not all bad all the way over, but couldn’t finish the bottle.

On tap. An unclear cola-looking brown beer topped by a dense, beige head of minimal size. The aroma has some alcohol, along with roasted malts, cola, dark dried fruit, hints of wood and some brown sugar. Almost coke and rum-like. A bit cheap white rum that is. It's full-bodied and soft on the palate, acidic, with a light alcohol warmth and flavor. Woody hints. Roasted malts, dark dried fruit, brown sugar and cola. Lasting finish, quite acidic and woody. A bit too acidic I think. 191005

On tap at Nærbø Ølfestival. An unclear orange-yellow colored beer with a minimalistic off-white head. The aroma is almost entirely fruity, with a faint doughy touch. Passionfruit, lemon notes and generic fruityness. It's tart and acidic on the palate, medium bodied and nicely carbonated, with a lemony, passionfruity flavor. Some faint notes of rhubarb and bread dough. Lasting sour, citrusy flavor with passionfruit. A refreshing and very sour one. 191005

On tap at Nærbø Ølfestival. It pours an unclear brownish orange body under a small off-white head. Some curtains. The aroma has a wee touch of lingonberry, with lemon and a hint of bread dough. It's medium bodied, tart and nicely carbonated, with a quite fruity sourness. Lemon, lingonberry notes, some bread and a light saltyness in the flavor. Lasting sour finish with a lingonberry astringency. A refreshing and quite decent one. Perhaps a bit more lingonberry would be wise if this one's brewed again. 191005

330ml can, lot 218, picked up at Gulating Ølutsalg, Grünerløkka. Pours a pearl white head, clear amber body, clingy lacing. Distant smell of liquorice, slightly tart. Strange taste profile of slightly tart fruity liquorice. Ends more sweet than tart. About drinkable, but I did not empty the can. (Hotel room, Oslo 19.01.2022).

Bottle. Clear, dark golden body under a fast-fading tan head. Aroma has toffee, malt and a bit yeasty. Taste is sweet malt, some caramel, bread, hebs and hint of oranges with a slightly harsh edge. Medium to thin bodied and short in aftertaste. Not a fan.
