200ml as India Pale Ale 08, 7.7 % abv, draught at the brewpub. Pours a near clear brownish body, filmy layer, scattered lacing. Inviting smell of dried fruits and mid-sweet brown malts. Blended taste profile of caramel malts, spruce, wood, and dried fruits. Hints of citrus peels towards a lingering bittersweet finish. Well bodied. Nice. (Bodø 14.11.2020).

The flavour is similar with the addition of grass, oak, dark chocolate and some alcohol. Has a slick mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Sweet and malty.

Tap @ the brewpub. Served as Weizenbock 03. Clear amber body under a small tan head. Aroma of malt, bread, dry fruit and some alcohol. Taste is sweet and malty with bread, caramel, mature fruit, hint of banana and moderate bitterness. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste ending with slightly warm alcohol. Rather pleasant one, the best of my four samples this time.

Tap @ the brewpub. Clear deep amber body with a solid, pale beige head. Aroma has rye bread, caramel, some spicy yeast and hint of phenol. Taste is sweet malt and toffee with hint of Belgium yeast and a little alcoholic touch. Fine body and average aftertaste. Drinkable, but feels a bit out of balance and has some off flavors.

Tap @ the brewpub. Unclear deep golden body with a medium sizes off-white head. Nice aroma of peach and passion fruit. Taste is rather classical American IPA with American citric hops, mild but distinct malt, hint of toffee and god bitterness. Nothing extraordinary but a rather well made old school IPA with lots of citric fruit. Medium body and nice aftertaste.

Tap @ the brewpub. Clear golden body under a fine, lacing white head. Aroma is grain, malt, yeast and light fruity. Taste like aroma, quite mild in taste, hint of fruit and medium bitterness. Medium body and medium aftertaste with a slightly more pronounced harsh bitterness. Not great, but definitively drinkable.

Citrus peels to the taste profile joined by a spicy touch on a backbone of wheat. Lingering aftertaste with fresh fruity bitterness. Fine depth. Nice with the herring dish. (Bodø 26.06.2020).
