Cask stillage at the Brickmakers Alehouse, Bexhill. Poured a hazy medium amber colour with a thin white head. The aroma is floral hops. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a smooth, somewhat light, treacle toffee, earthy, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Leicht alkoholischer, weich malziger Beginn. Röstig, Nuancen von Kaffee, hohe Süffigkeit. Geringe Bitterkeit, spritzig, zunehmende Intensität, überraschend wenig süß. Mittellanger Abgang. 10/10/11/11/8/10

Very dark brown beer with a tan lacing. Aroma of strong dark malt, chocolate, melasse, caramel. Taste of strong dark caramelized malt, raisins, liquorice, melasse.

Smooth mild beginning. Soft and grainy, fruity with a soft mild fruity back. Caramel, roasted grain, deep mild finish. Great.
