Battle Brewery is an award-winning microbrewery located at the heart of 1066 country in Battle, East Sussex.

At Battle Brewery we create natural, vegan-friendly beers with no additives, filtration or chemicals. Beers we are proud to serve and supply to our customers, pubs, cafes, restaurants, festivals and shops. We produce craft and traditional beer styles, using the finest quality ingredients, and taking our inspiration from the beautiful historic surroundings of 1066 country.

Smooth mild beginning. Very dry, bitter. Easy to drink, grainy dry in the aftertaste, bitter and sessionable.

Bottle from the brewery. Malty beginning. Grain there, dry. Dense rich malt with Ale characteristics in the back. A bit sticky, dense. Grainy malty finish with hazelnuts and roasted rye. Not bad.

Bottle from the brewery. Smooth mild fruity beginning. Caramel, creamy yellow fruit, spices. Nice soft creamy finish, no bitterness, cake, malty spiced finish. Nice.

ABV: 4.1%. Clear medium yellow amber colour with a small to small average, frothy - fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, caramel, pale malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20191009]

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, tropical fruit, citrus, pale malt. Bottle from the brewery shop. Smooth mild dry beginning. Dry, malty. Nice ale aromatic, fruity, mild with a nice dry sessionable finish. Hazelnuts, dry, grainy Ale finish.

Nice looking golden ale with a frothy white head and a citrusy aroma. Nicely balanced light malt and hop bitterness with fruity citrus notes, with a very slightly grainy mouthfeel

Gravity cask at the 31st Ealing Beer Festival, Walpole Park, 15/07/22. Golden with a white head. Nose is stewed fruits, grains, straw, crackers, light herb. Taste comprises biscuit, dusty fruits, hedgerow, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Fine.
